The Essentials, a 40-hour course offered through the Summit Victim Assistance Academy, is a nationally approved prerequisite training in Ohio for becoming a comprehensive National Credentialed Advocate. Victim advocates, law enforcement, social workers, counselors, attorneys, medical personnel, first responders, clergy, and students should attend.
