A Compassionate Leader at the Heart of our Extended Family

We are honored to announce that the inaugural Victim Assistance Program Sandy Selby Extended Family Award will be presented to, and named in recognition of, Rev. Sandra Selby, D.Min., MBA, CCFP, who has selflessly devoted her time and talents to Victim Assistance Program since 1985. Dr. Selby served many years on the Board of Furnace Street mission and has supported the work of VAP’s Victim Advocates by teaching in the Essentials of Victim Advocacy course with a focus on compassion fatigue and resiliency. She truly cares about the caregivers and has served as a trauma-informed friend and mentor to generations of VAP staff and leadership.
