SUMMARY:Moving Forward Together VIP Hard Hat Tour
DESCRIPTION:We’re Moving!\nWe invite you to an exclusive private preview of our soon to be new location. Help to ignite our fundraising efforts\, enjoy a special cocktail reception with hors-d’oeuvres\, and learn more about our plans for the future. \nWhile responding to the needs of our community\, we have sadly outgrown our historic home on Furnace Street. Since 1972\, Victim Assistance Program has helped thousands of individuals transition from hardship to healing. In 2017\, our crisis intervention and advocacy services impacted over 6\,000 Summit County residents. Unfortunately\, more recently\, our services nearly tripled due to a very violent time in our community. \n24 hours a day\, 365 days a year\, our highly trained victim advocates\, alongside first responders\, are on the front lines responding to assaults\, robberies\, shootings\, homicides\, and more. The work we do is difficult and current challenges have placed increased stresses on our staff and facilities. Therefore\, we are so pleased to move into our new 10\,000+ square foot location at 137 S. Main Street later this fall.
