Victim Assistance Program has a long history of providing meaningful training and hands-on experience to students. In fact, 44% of our current staff were previous student interns. Internships are highly competitive and interested students should apply 60-90 days in advance of the semester. Internships can be self-driven or completed for school credit. Interns at Victim Assistance Program have come from the following majors; Social Work, Criminology, Women’s Studies, Para-Legal, Nursing, Criminal Justice Studies, and Child & Family Development. Victim Assistance Program Interns are unpaid positions and are available Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.
